For all the grand software project ideas I’ve had over time, a number of them have actually emerged ranging in significance from “paltry” all the way to “meager”. I’ll try to keep track of them here as I think of them. The less-meager of them contain actual license agreements (GPL or LGPL, most likely), but regardless the general rule of thumb of open source software applies: don’t blame me if it doesn’t work or burns your toast or kicks your dog.
- JTax
JTax is an open source tax preparation framework, with the initial
implementation targeting the United States federal income tax form
1040 and its common supporting schedules.
- LSVClient
The purpose of LSVClient is to provide a full-featured Java class library for interacting with an Lsoft LISTSERV system via its TCPGUI interface.
- exTags
exTags is a collection of ColdFusion tags for creating an Excel spreadsheet (complete with formatting and formulas) from within a ColdFusion script.
- Miscellaneous scripts
These are basically code snippets that I’ve found useful and kept around. Odds are pretty good that if you’re not a programmer you’ll have no use for these in the least.
